why water is not an acid as it contain hydrogen?

Here's the answer you are looking for

Water, H2O no doubt has Hydrogen but it also contains hydroxide.

Water can be dissociated as

H20 –––> H+ + OH-

So, the number of H+ ions present in water that much number of OH- ions are also present. So, they neutralise themselves making water neither acid nor base.
