why water remain cold during summer in earthen Pots?​

due to latent heat of vaporisation water droplets around the pot evaporate and hence the water in the earthen pots remain cool in summer

water remain cold during summer in earthen pots because in earthen pots water gets evaporated quickly through the pores cooling of water is caused by evaporation

some heat is utilised during the process of evaporation

since this energy is taken from water itself it lead to the lowering of temperature in the remaining amount of water ......
