⚫Hydrochloric acid is a reducing agent which will when react with KMNO4 and will reduce it, due to which the result may come more than the actual value.

⚫NITRIC ACID is a strong oxidating agent which when reacts with KMNO4 will delay the in the final value.

⚫SULPHURIC ACID is best because it maintains a complete redox reaction.
