The happy, sad, crazy and all the types of emotions are referred to as MOOD of a person.

This mood is controlled by the gonadal hormones. Gonadal hormones are the hormones which are produced by the gonads (ovaries and testes). They include testosterone, oestrogen, progesterone. 

Researches also say that epinephrine (adrenaline), nor-epinephrine (nor-adrenaline) are also the hormones which cause mood!
