why we cannot measure the temperature of hot milk with clinical thermometer

We cannot use clinical thermometer to measure the temperature of hot milk. If the temperature of boiling milk is too hot it will break.

because it is too hot that it can break the thermometer, the minimum temperature a clinical thermometer is 37 C to 42 C
