Here is your answer !!!!!

Determine whether the function is a linear transformation. Justify your answer.

T:P2→P2T:P2→P2, whereT(a0+a1x+a2x2)=a0+a1(x+1)+a2(x+1)2T(a0+a1x+a2x2)=a0+a1(x+1)+a2(x+1)2

My thought process on solving this: I know that in order to be a linear transformation, the following 2 conditions must be met:

1. T(u+v)=T(u)+T(v)T(u+v)=T(u)+T(v)

2. T(cu)=cT(u)
