Why we do not sense pain when we cut nails and hairs​

The part of nails and hair that we cut, does not contain nerve endings. So when we cut/injure nails/hair we can't feel pain because that part can't send pain signals. We feel pain when we pull hair or cut too much of nail. Because that part contains nerve endings which send pain signals to our brain.
