why we don't see planats but we can see star why

Because stars have shining appearance and planets doesn't have

this is due to the fact that stars are luminous bodies that is they have their own light so they are clearly visible. .......but on the other hand planets are the non luminous /opaque bodies who do not have their own light so they are not visible with naked eyes
