Because the birds and aeroplanes flying in high,shading tiny area of shadow so it is not visible.

In order to cast the shadow near you, the bird or plane would have to be close to you and the light source (sun). Higher an object is in the sky, the larger its shadow will be on the ground and the shadow will be more diffused when the object is higher in the sky. Since birds or aeroplane fly far away from the ground, their shadow falls few miles away from the ground, so we don't see their shadow
