The main reason for season change is the tilt of the Earth's axis and earth's revolution around the sun. The temperature changes because the Earth is closer to the sun in summer and farther from the sun in winter. Also, the long nights and short days prevent the Earth from warming up. Thus, we feel cold during winter.
(Point to be noted - Due to change in wind pattern we experience cold breeze during winter.)
