Why we get hiccups after the meal and the after of drinking water?

Some causes of hiccups include: Eating too quickly and swallowing air along with foods. Eating too much (fatty or spicy foods, in particular) or drinking too much (carbonated beverages or alcohol) can distend the stomach and irritate the diaphragm, which can cause hiccups.
They are caused by irritating any of the neck nerves to chest nerves namely vagus and phrenic which connect to the diaphragm. If you eat too quickly, swallow air when eating, talk too much when eating, eating very chilly hot, spicy food and drinking aerated juices, it causes Hiccups. ... The result is Hiccups.
