why we keep pickles in a glass jars but not in metal jar

Cause pickles are acidic in mature and acids react with metal utensils and form toxic poisonous salts. To prevent that we keep it in glass jars!

Because if we will keep pickle in metal jar then it will get spoiled (becomes black) and it gets full of fungus
