Q. Why we multiply denominator with other denominator?
:: Theŕe are mainly two cases :
Case 1 :
When we add or subtract two fractional number then for further process denominator must be same if they do not same in magnitude then the addition and subtraction b/w both the fraction will happen for that we find the LCM of dinominators it may sometime the product of the dinominator.
Case 2:
When we multiply two fractions then the dinominator also get multiplied..
