-----heyy dear ur answer----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------because of there chambers of heart amphibian and reptile have 3 chambered heart but except crocodile ....While there are two atria, and there is one common ventricle, in which some (but not total) mixing of oxygen-rich and oxygen-poor blood........In amphibians and reptiles, the left atrium receives oxygenated blood from the gills/lungs/skin and the right atrium gets the deoxygenated blood from other body parts. However, they get mixed up in the single ventricle which pumps out mixed blood (incomplete double circulation) occurs........ i hope it will help u --------------------------------------------------------
