Why we say nonviolence is the only solution for the present day crisis in the society or world

firstly I would like to define non violence violence means fight with physical forces so no balance is a positive that that means without any fight with tools or something else.......
so we say non violence is the only solution to the present day crisis this is because we have already suffered from many wars like World War 1 and World War 2 and some other different was in respective countries and we have seen the result that there's too much of violence the people who don't even have any faults they are being killed and they lost their lives and too much of death and destruction of cause that's why that's why everybody thinks that instead of doing wars and fightings we should try to manage the problems by seeking non violence
