We use Fuse wire in our electric circuit to avoid shot circuit in our homes. ACfuse is an electrical safety device that operates to provide overcurrent protection of an electrical circuit. Its essential component is a metal wire or strip that melts when too much current flows through it, thereby interrupting the current. It is a sacrificial device; once a fuse has operated it is an open circuit, and it must be replaced or rewired, depending on type.

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU.

Heyaa !!!

ANSWER :-

A fuse is a special type of wire which is a part of the circuit . It weekly melts when it's temperature of crosses the safe limit . when the fuse wire melts , the circuit breaks and the electric current is prevented from flowing through the circuit .

When the fuse wire breaks , it has to be replaced by a piece of the same kind of wire . if you should never be replaced by a thicker wire . if the fuse wire made immediately after it is replaced , then most there is some fault in the circuit .

It is used to prevent electric current from flowing through the circuit .
