Bacteria, cyanobacteria and fungi included in plant Kingdom in the earlier classification systems because the earliest classification system used only gross superficial morphological characters such as habit, colour, number and shapes of leaves .they are mainly based on vegetative characters....but this is not acceptable since we know that often the vegetative characters are more easily affected by environment.
