There were mainly 2 reasons:
1)first there method of fighting was old and there were less weapons with them for fighting with british new techinological weapons.
2)second there is no any preplan for fighting against the british govern.all just came from here and there and started attacking on govt.

The British were able to suppress the Tribal uprising easily because of the following reasons-
▪️The tribal were poorly equipped in terms of weapons. They used traditional weapons like bow and arrow and swords while the British had weapons like this and cannons.
▪️ The tribal army was smaller than British army.
▪️ The tribal army was unorganised with very few laps while the British army was well organised with proffesional soldiers.
