• Along the trail, he notices several bugs and worms of various sizes.
• The boy falls more and further behind because he is preoccupied with all of the things that are passing him on his journey to the fair.
• He attempts to catch the dragonflies and butterflies with his attention, and he follows them as they fly around.
• As he walks into the forest clearing, a deluge of newly blooming flowers descends upon him. He comes to a halt and makes an effort to collect each one.
• When he hears the dove, he begins to search for it by running around in a frantic circle around the banyan tree.
• As a result, he falls more behind.
