Why were the clothes made in England cheaper than the ones made in India? ​

Because industrialization was the reason of high production in Cheaper rate but in India the cloth were made by more labour and there were no high tech mission like England have that time so it was also a major factor for the less expensive cloth in England than India.

England was coming up by industrialisation, so the products were made by machine ( high production) which led them to sell their products in cheaper rate whereas in India the clothes were made by people ( hand labour).

But the quality was high in India than in England.
