Indians were unhappy with the Britishers because they were partial, never felt that India can be their land, they were least bothered about Indian Traditions, they never gave equal power to indians, discrimination was at peak. Britishers wanted revenue and only revenue from everything, they not only made the farmers, artisans helpless but also the powerful rulers by their diplomacy n greed.

yes, i am an Indian but at some places i truly admire Britishers for the development they made in our country (inspite it was for their convenience only). Our people are still confined to their roots but the few have started evolving now and focusing on advancement of our country by not forgetting their roots.

If Britishers ever felt that Indians are our people and equality was given importance then situation might have been different. as if we see earlier dynasty rulers were also foreigners but people were happy there because they made our land their own land(but yes royal family rule is not supported today).
