the narrator and his companion were on the verge of entering verona. they were at the foothills of alps and were in a car. they saw two boys, they had tangled hair, Dark skin and eloquent eyes. they had something magnetic about their eyes because of which the narrator and his companion were highly impressed. they could see the earnestness in their eyes and a seriousness which was far beyond their age.later, they discovered that behind their shabby faces hid their nobility.
