Why Western Rajasthan receives no rain from the Arabian sea branch of Southwest monsoon winds ?

Western Rajasthan receives no rain from the Arabian sea branchof the SW monsoon beacause the Aravalli range is parallel to the direction of SW monsoon as a result it is unable to obstruct themonsoon wind hence not receiving any rain from the Arabian sea branch
