why wooden chair is solid at room temperature 2 reasons

b'coz in solids , the particles are closely packed....they don't lose their forces of attraction , so remain as solids even in room temperaure.................................Secondly , the solids have high melting points , so , they need much temperature to melt.

•the molecules of the chair are tightly packed.(chair is solid)
•the average room temperature and pressure is not sufficient to alter the molecular formation of the chair.(solids have high melting point)
•however if the temperature and pressure is increased the chair might change it's state.
