yes, life would be impossible without green plants because...
its obvious that the oxygen with which we survive is obtained from plants only and they only provide us food although indirectly but they are only the producer of food.. so without these plants we are unable to survive i.e there are so many programmes in order to preserve greenery...

Because if green leaves are not there oxygen is not supplied
