The poem Where the mind is without fear is written by great poet Rabindranath Tagore in preindependence period with a dream of seeing his country free from all aspects . For him freedom was not mere political but was where everyone is free to express his emotion , free from the shackles of superstitious belief and narrow kindness . He dwelled for a country where freedom can be felt at fullest and he prays God to make the country that heaven of freedom where freedom can be felt fullest along with responsibility.
