in case of wurtz reaction sodium reacts with alkyl halides in presents of ether which temples promote elimination as in potassium Hydroxide supported elimination therefore tertiary highlights having high tendency of going elimination undergo that process.
the wurtz reaction fails for tertiary alkyl halides due to side reaction involving elimination reaction as steric hindrance that is the factor which arises due to bulkiness of reacting alkyl or rather tertiary alkyl group
hopefully helps

Answer:this question is all about your reaction mechanism but if you dont know reaction mechanism then have a look

in case of 1°alcohol there is one ch3 so na feel less repulsion

and in 2° alchohol there are 2 ch3 so it will feel more repulsion than 1° alcohol

but in 3° alchohol there are 3 ch3 so it feel more repulsion
