If someone doesn't need plant to eat doesn't means it has nothing to do with the plant anymore .
What do you think it's gonna breath in , of course "oxygen" this is most important point.
And of course they use it to hide themselves from their prey.
So plant are always helpful for anyone .
Except microorganisms who can live anaerobically.

Wild animals like tiger and lion definitely don’t need plants but they cannot survive for long without them. This has all to do with the food chain. Lion for an example is a carnivorous diet and hunts on animals like deer which is a herbivore. Since deer is a herbivore it requires plants to feed on. If the plants aren’t available the deer won’t survive affecting the diet of the carnivore (lion). Thus, it’s proven that wild animals indirectly do require plants.
