will blue litmus paper change to red when brought in contact with dry HCL gas if no then why explain​

Explanation:

because acid only react in aquous solution and if there is no water so HCL is not acid when it is in atmosphere as gas substance,therefore blue litmus will not change to red when brought in contact with dry HCL gas
