Will current flow more easily through a thick wire or a thin wire of the same material , when connected to the same source ?? why ??
Answers
According to the ohm's law of electrical resistance,we came to know that the thickness of the conductive wire is inversely proportional with the amount of resistance. (because, the amount of conducting electrons are lesser in amount in the thin wire, due to the less conductive surface)
So,a certain amount of electricity will easily flow through a thick wire rather than the thin wire made with the same material.
