Will geographical isolation be a major factor in the speciation of an organism that reproduces asexually? Give reason for your answer.

Asexual reproduction requires only one individual to reproduce. the offspring is usually the identical copy of the single parent no variations are observed except incorrect copying of DNA. This small amount of variation is not enough to give rise to a new species. So, geographical isolation is not a major factor in the speciation.
