Will geographical isolation be a major factor in the speciation of a self-pollinating plant species? Why or why not?

) no geographically isolation won't be a major factor in self pollinating species because they do not depend on other plants for their pollination.

2) They pollinate amongst themselves only so no new species would be created.

3) Speciation occurs when there is reproductive isolation of an organism but in case of self pollinating plants geographical isolation cannot create reproductive isolation
