Equations for the reaction.

Zn(s) + 2HCl (aq) —> ZnCl₂ (aq) + H₂ (g)

Zn(s) + 2CH₃COOH (aq) — > (CH₃COO)₂ (aq) + H₂ (g)

In both reactions hydrogen gas is produced.

However given that HCl is a strong acid and thus it gives more hydrogen gas than the weak acid.
