Showing users a half-baked prototype is partially usability testing and partially user research. You get feedback on actual designs and you get to learn about their mental model through deeper questioning.

In conducting these interviews, I have a few simple tricks to get people to talk more about who they are, what they need, and what they’re thinking. Before I get to the tricks, though, I want to describe a simple framework I use for constructing these scripts.

Yes, we will get a response when we click a prototype.

Prototype is the final stage in completion of a market product. Before reaching the prototype stage a product or the idea of the product has to pass through the stages of wireframe and mockup which are non responsible to the clicking.

In the stage of prototype the developers can actually get the real response from the users or the audience of that product because it is responsible for giving interface and experience content.

The status of wireframe and mockup does not have any user interface and are even not clickable that is why a developer is not able to get the real response of the audience for the user base but once the product reaches the prototype stage it becomes very easy for the developers to get such response from the audience.
