(p+2) ² = (p-5)²

p² + 4p + 4 = p² -10p + 25

4p + 10p = 25 - 4

14 p = 21

p = 21/14

Your. Answer

Solution :-

(p+2)² = (p-5)²

taking help of identity

(a+b)² and (a-b)²

Now first solving (p+2)²

(p)² + (2)² + 2 × p × 2

= p² + 4 + 4p

Now solving

(p-5)²

= (p)² + (5)² - 2 × p × 5

= p² + 25 - 10p

Now putting the both equation together

= p² + 4 + 4p = p² + 25 - 10p

p² cut from p²

remaining ......

= 4p + 10p = 25 - 4

= 14p = 21

= P =

 \frac{21}{14}  =  \frac{3}{2}
