Music is the language of soul that is beyond the limitations of words. Music is not dependent upon words to be appreciated. Birds don't sing in any language, still their warbling is admired by all irrespective of the language they use. In the poem, 'The Solitary Reaper', Wordsworth also happened to pass by a spot where a highland lass was reaping and singing absorbed in her work. She was singing in a language that the poet didn't understand. In spite of this fact, the poet found the melody and tone of the song melancholy which soothed his soul. He kept standing there to enjoy the song. Thus we see, we don't require any language to appreciate music.
