2] when it enters in earth atmosphere due to change in atmospheric pressure, humidity, etc one of the point source gets effected.

3] Since lights come from planets is collections of point source, therefore it overcomes the effected point source.

4] Also the planet is closer to the earth.

5] Therefore planets does not Twinkle.
