Microorganism have their role in humans  life as they are used for many purpose. 

The one of the major economic use of microogranism is production of food like yougurt and cheese is produce by using the bacteria i.e like lactic acid producing bacteria used in yougurt

Also, bacteria have their major role in the biotechnology as well as in the
genetic engineering i.e bacteria used for production of insulin.

For the biological control of pest  some bacterial species are used as insecticide.
