It is because both eyes point at one single object in two different ways.
Without two eyes the world would look 2D.
The second eye adds the third dimension.
Try looking at ur finger with some background with a single eye keeping the finger in the same position.
Even though u didn’t change the position of the finger, it appears to be changing with different single eye.
These two images perceived by our eyes is combined in our brain to make a 3D picture.
