At first we write the polynomial as a equation by equating f(x) =0
That is 3(x^2-1)+2x-5=0
x^2+2/3x-8/3=0
So sum of the roots are = - 2/3
And product of the roots =-8/3
That is 3(x^2-1)+2x-5=0
x^2+2/3x-8/3=0
So sum of the roots are = - 2/3
And product of the roots =-8/3
