Dear Sir
Our society is growing at a rapid pace and its population is moving from villages and rural areas to urban areas. As it grows, we see the emergence of more nucleus families, leaving behind the elderly in rural areas.
The sudden vacuum created by departure of their dear and near ones to cities and towns, creates insecurities among the elderly, which has of late become a sad fact of life.
To counter this we need to create awareness among the public of taking care of parents and the elderly. My suggestion is to have more reading space dedicated to this cause, in your reputed Daily and also, holding of public events, which reminds the public of taking care of the elderly.
Thank you, Sir
Yours sincerely
