prince of Morocco choosed golden casket as he thinks that portia's portrait can be only placed in a valuable metal only and among the three caskets only the gold casket was more valuable.At the same time that casket says that"who choosenth me shall gain what many men desire" and all portia's suitors desire portia.
Prince of Aragon choose silver casket as it says"who choosenth me shall gain as much as he deserves "and he thought that he only deserve portia and at the same time he don't want to become the part of group of suitors who desire portia and do not deserve her.
