antonio and bassanio are best frnds .antonio helps bassanio wen ever he wants help .....bassanio had to go to belmont to try his luck and win portia she asks antonio to lend him some money at that time antonio had no money as all his ships were on the sea ...which had expensive cargoes he leads money from shylock and shylock tells antonio to sign a bond in which is was written that if antonio was not able to pay the money in the certain time then he needs to gv 1 pound of flesh from his body...............this shows that antonio is a true find wh helps bassanio wen ever he wants help...!
