The poem conveys a strong message that evil deeds never go unpunished.Though the evil doer may initially feel no remorse but in course of time his condition always becomes miserable. Every good deed is awarded in appropriate measures. The evil doer becomes victim of the very plot he designs for others. He falls in the same pit that he digs for others. 'What goes around comes around' is an appropriate summary of all the above .
