The poet Roald Dahl, explains to the parents the importance of getting rid of the toxic television and replacing it with a book shelf. He assures them about it’s effect on the children. He tells them that after having nothing else to do, the restless children will surely start feeling the need to have something to read. In this manner they will get addicted to the good habit of reading and forget about the television.
