Bijak : it is a book which contains all the verses of kabir.kabir was a student of the saint ramananda. he was born to a brahmin widow but grown up in Muslim family.His main intension is to promote peace and harmony among different communities..
kabir was an oral poet i.e., his followers were writing down whatever said by him.
Bijak contains three main sections.
1. Sakhi : it is composed in doha or two line form.
2Ramani : it is lengthy in character.. around four lines..
3.Shabda : it is normally a poem,which has undergone many alterations...
