Tarikh-i-Firozshahi :
This book throws a good deal of light on the history of the Delhi sultanate up to the reign of Firoz Shah Tughlaq. Zia-Ud-din Barani claims that what he has written is true and his account is considered trustworthy by the then scholars. Later on various mediaeval historians like Nizam Ud-din Ahmad , Badauni , Firishta and Huji-ud-Dabir and Amir Khusrau gave an account of the Sultanate Period. Another historian Abdul Haq in his Akhlus-ul-Akhyar relied on this book for the biographical sketch of Nizam Uddin Auliya and other Sufi saints.
