(A) the centre of a circle which passes through a curve at a given point and has the same tangent and curvature at that point.

(B)a point on the axis of a lens that is so located that any ray of light passing through it in passing through the lens suffers no net deviation and that may be within, without, or on either surface of the lens.

(C) Principal focus) It is a point on the principal axis of the mirror, such that the rays incident on the mirror parallel to the principal axis after reflection, actually meet at this point
