when key is on there is a momentary deflection yo one side galvanometer.
when key is off there is momentary deflection in opposite side on galvanometer.
when the key is still on there is no deflection in galvanometer.
here current produced is known as Induced current . the phenomenon is known as electromagnetic induction.
the direction of Induced current can be obtained by Fleming's right hand rule.
