as in case of the insects the one that were best able to camouflage with the surrounding were able to survive whereas the others couldn't. it is a process whereby few things that are selected by the nature able to survive.

when Charles Dawin visited a couple of islands during his tour he noticed a strange thing. In one of the island birds had sticky beak . in other island he saw birds with a sharp beak. He was amazed to notice that all the island are nearby each other but had did animals with different feature . in this way he came to an conclusion that all the organisms evoled for a single organisms. they changed their body depending upon their atmosphere . the birds which had sharp beak lived in a island with fleshy animals . natural selection process change their beak for their survival
